In today’s class we will focus on strengthening, moving, and elongating the thoracic spine (the area below the neck). We will start with shoulder work to unlock the spine, and then move into slow moving Sun Salutations with variations. As we move into the standing flow we will continue to lengthen and strengthen the spine. For our peak pose will we expand into Bow - hopefully finding comfort in the posture. We will start class working with the wall, and then a chair, towards the end of class you’ll need a bolster or a rolled up blanket.
